Best Android Call Recoder?

Hi I got a new phone and now I can't install a previous call recorder any recommendations on what I should replace it with?

    Keep in mind that it is illegal to record a phone call without the other person knowing and consenting

      As a blanket statement, you are not correct.

      It depends on a number of factors like location, as well as how the call is recorded.

    I thought the newer versions of Android had disabled the use of call recorders? You can still install but it would only be able to record your voice and not what you hear.

      I am on Android 9 July security patch and my voice recorder works perfectly both sides.

        I will get ACR to start recording again and see what happens then. You on a custom ROM or anything?

    Currently the best one available (IMO) is ACR (Another Call Recorder) You'll have to play with the settings to fine tune it for your phone.

    Second best is Total Recall (IMO)

    They both record both sides of the conversation. Not 100% but close enough.

    Check the regulations in your state as they do vary.

      Agree that one best is ACR. I've heard that it wouldn't work on Android 9. Mine is Android 5 so it's working alright.

        It definitely works on Pie for me, but did require a little fiddling with settings for the best results.
