CRM or App or Software

Just wondering if there is an app or CRM that people use to manage their clients?

My girlfriend has a side makeup business (which is booming at the moment) and also works full time, she is looking for an app that can also integrate with her website, for example, if a customer wants her services he/she can go onto her website put in a request, pay a deposit and then he/she can receive an automated email response.

she wants her clients to all go into a database also so she can send out receipts when the client has paid for their service.

Anything that either can do that or something along the lines that doesn't cost too much would be great, I really need help with this because she wants to hire someone to manage her clients and appointments and that person is going to be me, though Saturdays are for the boys and football and don't want to do it

Wouldn't this just be a standard eCommerce site? Something like Shopify would suit.

Salesforce is the one I know of, even seen it advertised on buses recently, unsure if its overkill for what you're trying to do, but it comes to $35 a month. But I'm not sure how its like with integration and everything, if it needs anything custom you might have a bad time.

Salesforce is insanely expensive. They have all these intro rates but really to do anything decent with it costs an arm and a leg.

Honestly the second you start talking about integrations and things like that things start to get expensive. A standalone CRM for a one person show doesn't really make sense unless you are buying an all in one package.

You could try something like Microsoft bookings which comes with Office 365 business premium which is 20 bucks per month per user and includes the office suite as well as hosted email etc. I think it allows payments and has a scheduler where people can book online. Seems like a low cost/effort way of heading that path and if it works out and she is making decent coin you might look at the more expensive things out there which are ususally in the 100+ a month territory.
