    These look great but the last time I checked they only let you charge devices but not data transfer, not even tethering.

    Great for kids to charge their devices without destroying the micro usb connector. I'd like to get some 30cm long though, not 1m.

        Correct. Often the cable deals with included adapter when buying on sale will be cheaper than getting a plug on it's own, so better getting more when on sale as handy to have cables in multiple places or just as spares.

        Hopefully does not burn my house down.

        Don't need data transfer only charging points around the house for guests and house members (just realised won't be the smartest thing to do with the magnetic portion but at least I have enough cables for micro usb users until we phase it out)

          doesn't seem an excellent guest choice, the little disconnected plugs are a bitch to get in and out and well guests will 'accidentally' disappear them

          For the home they have been great leave them in the phone probably no more snapped pins in their phones from the daily insert, removal and upside down force of certain family members :)

          The light does make them great and easy to find/connect bedside

            @[Deactivated]: I see what you mean hmm yeah that is true maybe not the best guest choice but for now at least I have something to give them if they need a spare cable because I was running out and giving away my premium long cables which were getting destroyed because they misuse them.

            I know a friend that could maybe use this in his car easy snap on snap off.

            I know I always need extras as the ones that come with most devices are the short 15cm or 30cm ones if you are lucky which I have not found a use for.

    The ad waffles on about all three connectors but I see NO promise it comes with 3 connectors and one cable
    You will probably need to buy three

    when buying you must choose a colour; that seems to limits to a single type
    Color: Gold for type C
    Color: Gold for type micro
    Color: Gold for type lightning

    That said I'm still going to buy a dozen these off ali, under $2 is pretty good for i do not need any lightning ones
    most probably same limits NO Data transfer ; this prevent Android Auto working

    i bought a few different location because I found preference for L connectors they came will all 3 in one go.

    I have some essager branded cables from Aliexpress.. So my experiences of Essager are:

    I can confirm these support data (great for android auto in car as my phone Micro, missus USB C, so one cable is great) They also support quick charge.
    If you order a cable it comes with the (1) adapter type on the end.. I recommend getting some extra adapters though.

      Those look decent with claimed 3A and also data transfer. As these are not round, does it matter which way you connect the micro usb side to the cable as with round ones it's never an issue?

    So the adapter is meant to stay in the phone/device and you just attach the cable when needed?

    I like that idea, given plugging and unplugging does cause wear on the socket and plug…… but how hard is it to get the adapter out when needed?

    Hmm, dont think my phone with the case on will accept the round connector…hard to tell as mine is normal USB C flat case socket.

    Got mine today and two of the four micro USB connectors don't work. Lightning port connector doesn't work in my iPad pro 12.9" either. Pretty disappointed
