The photo quality of this camera is of much higher quality than those in the $200-$300 price range however the trade off being is the slow speed.
Yes, I read good reviews about it when I was looking around. At that price it's a steal.

Good Deal, I still own a Canon Ixus i running on rechargeable flat-pack lithium-ion batteries and they have been getting less and less charge capacity over the years. =S I guess normal battery sized cameras such as this one running AA are a plus if you don't want expensive OEM flat-pack battery replacements in the future; just make sure, if you want ur camera to last long on AA recharges buy AAs that have high mAh. And about the Canon Ixus i, its still running as perfect as new and takes very high quality photos and it's about 4-5 years old. =D

or buy eneloops or POWEREX Imedion…. they retain their charge for much much longer than normal NimH…
