  • seems to be online only? nice find though

Yep, but if you check for store stock by postcode i.e. your local store, if in stock it gives you the option to 'collect here'. That way no postage. I did it yesterday :o)

      • Ah ok. In that case nobody local has them

        • Searched 2000 - Sydney George Street (Large) says there instock. Don't know if that helps you.

  • That's a shame. It is a great little unit.

  • These are actually pretty good; I have a stack of them I bought in Japan at the 100 yen store. Well worth it if you can be bothered..

    • +1

Ok, curiosity has gotten the better of me…I've gotta ask…why would you buy "a stack of them"? :)

    • Daiso sell something quite similar too at their $2.80 stores. Might be worth paying a little bit more for something that is brighter and uses lighter AAAs. Mine needs to be realigned and retightened after a few jolts.

  • Great price, shame about the postage

  • wondering can this be seen at night without flashing?

    • +1

They are usually reflective also, if that's what you mean.

      • yeah need 2 as a reflective to put it on a fence so give more vision @night.

It has 5 very Bright LEDs and 7 different modes. One of them is the 5 LEDs stay on and do not flash - like turning a torch on. Hope that helps.

    sneaky so-and-so's.

Put the price up to $3 MID-PURCHASE.

    They can keep 'em.

    • still shows $1.80 to me

    • Now $1.80
      Save $3.18

      • Yes, it seems to only change to "$3.05 save $3.18" after I add 7 (hey, I have kids). I will try adding fewer to my cart.

        • Cool, as soon as I login it changes from $180 to $3.05… :(

        • 7 for $12.60 + postage or pick up option - tried and worked for me. Don't know what is happening when you do it. Give them a call if you are still having issues. It is clearly $1.80 on website.

i've got those lights, bought one front and one back light on ebay for just over $3.

it's not bad price for pick up, i see them for $2 at $2 shops all the time.
still think it's cheaper if you buy it on ebay, as the front led light are usually more expensive.
if u dont mind the wait on postage from HK.

  • Nice work :)

Grabbed 2 of them … hopefully I find time to pop into the store in the next 48 hours!

Go to wiggle.co.uk and find cheap and real bike stuffs. free shipping over GBP50.

    • rubbish….post direct link if you dare!
and don't compare apple with lemon!!!

    • Negging with a comment like that is ridiculous. Find me a light on wiggle for $1.80 that I can pick-up for free in Aus … obviously you can't. I love wiggle, I spend way too much money on that site in fact … but this is still a great bargain.

  • Guys, not only $1.80 pick up but comes with 12 month Australian Warranty from Dick Smith. Any problems with it, you can return it. To me that is a BARGAIN!! Plus the clip to backpack or pants is awesome.

  • Nice find! I lost my rear light a couple of weeks ago. Grabbed 5 for me and some mates, shipping was the same for 1 or 5 @ $6.95. Bargain! Cheers!

    • Welcome. Wait till you see the flashing functions, very cool and a lot better than I've seen in bike stores. Bought a new bike and into gadgets at the moment :o)

  • dont clamp them up too tight, the ring is plastic and i snapped mine a while ago. very annoying

  • Seriously these things suck, the plastic clamp rings are completely useless - you're better off going to a bike shop or an online bike store like cyclingexpress.com.au
