There have been a number of threads on this topic. I would go in and ask "I'm looking to purchase this item, and I note XXX has it for $XXX".
Ask a few of the employees and (in my experience) somebody will match in order to secure the sale.

This is how I've purchased my last two phones. YMMV.

call up and ask whichever stores are close to you, its at the stores discretion so it varies store to store
