    • Nope just copy and paste from facebook. More a milwaukee fan than sydney tools fan.

Adelaide tools give you giftcards normally so you dont have to think of what to spend it on on the spot like sydney tools.

Not their best deal with milwaukee but if you are wanting something now its better than nothing.
Also note new milwaukee redemptions start in oct so if theres something you want with a redemption nows the time to double dip your bonuses.

Seems like Milwaukee is trying to push their OPE game yet they've got no plans for a bloody lawn mower. :(

I mean, just make a motor, bolt two machetes and drive it with three M18 batteries and BAM! Chicken dinner.

If you can mow your lawn with an electric mower, have you really got a lawn?

Try one of the new generation of electric mowers. I have the victa 82v mower and it chews through everything, including stones hidden in the grass - found this out the hard way…

Anyone seen a deal on new mower blades?

I agree with Tycho on this. I borrowed a mates Victa battery mower (3-4 years old now) and it was amazing compared with the (cheap 12 year old) 4-stroke I normally use. The 4-stroke (w/ mulcher) would start bogging down after a while and even stall occasionally, particularly if the grass were a bit wet or fresh growth. The battery mower is lighter, just as wide, never bogged down (even when it was chock full of grass underneath), no mucking around with pull-start, carbys, fuel or oil. I needed to swap batteries 3/4 way through my ~350m2 of tall, thick grass. I was also pleasantly surprised that the second battery charged from dead to full in less than the time it took me to discharge the first batter from full to dead…!

Line trimmer was also amazing. Much lighter than a 2-stroke and plenty powerful. Would easily cut through the metal post supporting a carport if you're not careful about where you're swinging it…

      • A few acres. I have a zero turn mower but need a push for small areas.

  • anyone have any experience/comments on the multi-fuction power head and QUIK-LOK attachments?

I was looking at the ryobi 18v brushless for $205 at bunnings but think the milwaukee should be a better product (and with this deal should come with a 6ah battery) and can add the edger attachment later on.

    • I have the solid line trimmer pissed off they bring the power head out with attachments not long after.
Power head is basically the same as line trimmer but with removable end.
It goes pretty good and plenty of power for the line trimmer with a 9ah battery.
Cant comment on the quick lock.

      • I have the standalone and the power head units.

The quick lock isn't fantastic. You really notice the degree of flex and play when you're using the extension on a pole saw.

I just brought the Milwaukee Quik-Lok head and line trimmer attachment. I will say that I’ve never had a line trimmer before. But I’m very impressed with the Milwaukee whipper snipper. On low speed I’m easily cutting through 2 feet tall grass and weeds. On high speed, it’s even more powerful but it vibrates a lot more. For my uses, slow speed is easily sufficient and never once has it bogged down or got jammed up.
I’m going to Sydney Tools today to buy the leaf blower with the free 8.0ah HO battery.

Watch the T&C's … Bonus Credit cannot be used on the purchase of the items, but must be used in the same transaction. Eg. You only get the bonus credit if you purchase something else at the same time.

    • previous experience in store yes, online it seems they give you the bonus credit after and then have to use b4 the end of the day.
