"Techno down" that's a fancy way to polyester

But it spares the ducks, right? :-)

"Techno down" that's a fancy way to polyester

I think it is from ducks that had frequented the Club Circuit prior to being plucked.

I stand to be corrected though.

      • PETA nor me aren't complaining

  • Too bad only 2 colours…

Two colours, one style, it's never been easier to spot fellow ozbargainers.

    • thank god i already bought one =) for even cheaper online =D from the US… some bargains are not really bargains when compared to purchasing from overseas, but yeah, horses for courses, I agree this is cheap for here in Oz hahaha. gave you a pos lol.

Do you have a link to what you bought?

        • Yeah, but delivery is the killer unless you buy heaps of stuff which is what I did for my whole family lol. Plus I bought when they had the recent 25% off sale including reduced items which this is. I got the blue one, and it's a lot brighter than the pic gives credit for and I like it!

I'd pay a bit more and get real duck down jackets for $99 when macpac/fairydown go on sale. Not bad for $49, but it is polyester fill which is nothing special

    • Thats twice the price, therefore no comparison

Except duck/goose down is about 5x warmer and also tends to not "wear down" as some poly fillers do.

I have a goose down doona that is so warm I actually don't use it, even in this Melbourne weather it's not cold enough!

I'm not trying to compare I'm giving a recommendation der!

    • where did you get them for $99?

      • Macpac stores, tend to go on sale once or twice a year with their downs. excellent value then.
