Hey everyone!
Has anyone from Sydney switched to Optus 5G Broadband from NBN (or any alternative internet source) because of dodgy speeds etc?

There were a handful of suburbs selected for the 5G trial. ($60/Unlimited)
Apparantly they were getting 300+ mbits during peak.
I've heard of tests showing 5,000Mbps to 10,000Mbps. I was hoping for 500Mbps (or more) during high-use times (9pm?). Maybe it's wishful thinking.
FYI - It's available now.
$70 per month for 50mbit unlimited.
The 5G Standard hasn't even been finalised.
It's safer to assume there's no 5G until 2021 or later. At which point, if congestion is mitigated, then NBN is going to seem stupid to have (pay more for less). I guess that would mean either the NBN changes, we sack a lot of pollies, or 5G gets more expensive. I fear for the latter :(
