As some of you may already know I often listen to music, and also occasionally use YouTube to take me on a journey of music through ‘suggested videos’, sometimes venturing into genres I usually would turn down.
I in a sense listen to slightly more ‘traditional’ music, which some may think of as boring or nerdy.
I do appreciate music of all genres, so here are some of (the more modern) recently discovered tracks which find myself replaying / rewatching on YouTube.
Please enjoy your Sunday, and hopefully one of these videos can take you on a journey of music of your own.
- The Night Game - The Outfield (The Midnight Remix)
- LGHTNNG - Keep It Together
- Covet “falkor” (full band playthrough)
- Pale Waves - Kiss
- Pale Waves - My Obsession
- Midland - Gettin The Feel (Acoustic)
- Chelsea Wolfe - The Mother Road
- Amigo The Devil - cocaine and abel
Bonus:
- 2018 meditaçao JOAN CHAMORRO PRESENTA ALBA ARMENGOU & SCOTT HAMILTON
This last one is of one of the genres I listen to more (Jazz / Ensemble), but I think you will have a great time watching regardless of the music. I particularly find interesting the different approaches and expressions / body language of the individual band-members as they perform.
3 youths at the front - slightly nervous
Piano player at the back - ‘I can do this, but I don’t want to be here right now’
Old man on saxophone - transcending the music
Double bass player - confident
Drummer - neutral
Main vocal / trumpet - confident
A great performance.
This traditional piece has my attention lately.
