Upcoming Sales to LAX?

Hey bargainers,

I'm looking to book return flights to LAX direct from Sydney for travel in April 2020. I'm seeing direct flights around the $1,400 return mark at the moment. When I went in April 2018 I paid about $1,000 return.

Just wondering if anyone knows of upcoming sales/best time to book? I'd like to get closer to the $1,000 mark again!
