          @pinkybrain: Regardless, there's a big difference between the two and their giveaways.

          Epic is paying a tonne of money to the devs in order to give out free keys whereas Steam isn't paying anything and it's the devs who are deciding to make the games free. Steam aren't paying to bring in new users because they don't need to. They're big enough as is and everyone knows who they are. Epic are still new and growing a player base so they're paying to bring in new users.

            well they are the newbie trying to take on a giant monopoly that has been around a long time now

            who gives a shit the reason..
            as long I am consistently getting top games every month from epic games I don't give a shit
            how many top games has steam consistently given away lately?
            most of the free steam giveways have been low quality crap games from indiegala
            with a few occasional top games from some store or humble bumble etc..

            the devs are accepting the money from epic..so they aren't losing out..
            if they give it away free on steam, they get nothing..

            at the end of the day
            you get to play the free games from steam or epic

          @FireRunner: ea gave games? since when? all i remember is dead space many years ago which i already got. if they do give a game it must be for selling dlc or sequel cuz main game is no longer selling. the day when ea gives charity is the day hell freezes over.

  just got it for the xp and achievement padding (sam'd already)
