Can Car LED light panels be cut to size?

I bought some LED panels for the interior of my car but one light box is just too small to fit the panel. Does anyone know if it's safe to cut a line of LEDs of the panel to make it fit?

    It is safe but it may not work if you cut the work line, they are building them in series.

      That's what I thought. Would the work line be where the wires attach?

    Remove a line and you’ll probably need to do some soldering.
