Ring the florist direct. It will save you about 40% off the interflora/petals prices and the florist makes more money that way too.
The whole monopolized online flower ordering thing is a joke where these huge companies take 40% cuts for doing nothing more than processing your payment and forwarding it to a local florist. IMO it should be avoided whenever possible by ringing your local florist or your recipients local florist for a direct order.
I highly recommend Little Flowers in Sydney, great pricing and really lovely arrangements.
Go into your neighbour's garden ;)
