    They class it as a Lager, although I’ve had this a few times and it’s quite fruity like a pale ale. Very seasonable, easy to drink.

    It's a tropical lager. Easy to drink beer with a bit more flavour than you'd expect from well-known lagers. Made by an independently owned brewery based in Melbourne.

      I thought initially it was BrewDog. I prefer IPAs to Lagers, but might try this.

      Moon Dog were supposed to be doing some tasting at Dan's on the weekend, but I didn't see anybody there when they were supposed to start, so I left.

        Yup. This won't be as hoppy as an IPA. But it's worth trying and has much more hop character than a typical lager.

        A hoppy, high ABV IPA can get be a bit much after four or five. This has enough flavour to still be interesting and you can have a few without getting smashed. Great for a BBQ on a warm day. Even the regular price is good for a beer like this.

        I'm sure you're not the first person to confuse them with BrewDog.
