Up to 36% off Philips hue smart outdoor range.
Cheapest I have seen! Obviously get into Bunnings for 10% price beat on same stocked items.
I just ordered some of the newer style wall lights for outside.

Hi guys, Do i need any specific wiring to install or just replace with current wall light? Please advise
Most of the outdoor range is 24VDC. Some of the new ones seem to be 240V AC
Pretty sure this is a stupid question but these are weather proof right? Like I can put it outside in the rain and heat?
They're designed to be outdoors (the webpage specifically mentions water exposure so I'm sure they're designed to cope with heat, too)
IP 65
Bunnings don't really stock any Philips Hue outdoor lights apart from the lily extensions and some bollards.
A lot of these seem to be newer released products not in the Australian market yet - like the outdoor floodlight. I picked up a floodlight - which is 240v.
Check out reviews from Amazon US. PITA to install due to design of the mounts which puts me off. Was about to pull the trigger - been keeping an eye for a discount for close to 6 months!
Do they mention if they mount well on a ceiling overhang for a balcony?
Mine will likely tucked up under a new steel carport - so I'll leave it to electrician to work out the mount, I hope it's not too bad….
No outdoor sensor though sadly
Wouldn't the normal sensors work if it was placed under some shelter?
i have been using my regular (indoor) sensors for outdoor usage for almost a year now. no significant issues so far….
Is the area partially covered or fully exposed to the elements?
@wingzee: partially covered, i didnt want to risk
You can pick up the sensor for around $50. It runs on 2 AAA batteries - not sure how suitable it would be in weather though….
Outdoor sensor here https://simply-leds.com.au/collections/new-hue-outdoor/produ… But seem pricey.
Bought 3 Lillies and extension cord. If you buy any echo you get further 20% off the lights.
Went back to get another cable and seems that most of the hues went back up in price.
Thanks OP. I grabbed 5 of the Hue Calla bollard outdoor lights from Bunnings to add to my growing collection.
I too noticed that the Amazon prices have returned to normal….but as of 6:20 pm AEST, Bunnings still have the Spot lights and Bollards at the reduced pricing.
Get them while they are hot!
How do you install these outdoor lights if you don't have any electrical outlets outdoor?
Do you need to install an outdoor electricial outlet ? ie call electrician etc?
I'm interested to do this for my front yard as my footpath to my front door is very dim and hard to see.
Yes, you will need an outdoor power point. That will allow you to daisy chain up to 5 spot lights or bollards, or a combination of both. You will also need a Philips Hue hub to be able to control the lights and get the best bang for your buck.
There is a very active thread running on Whirlpool if you want to see what is possible.
Grabbed 3 spotlights and just set them up. Very happy so far.
Couldn't resist any longer so went the impress wall lights as well.
Damn. Went crazy and bought a floodlight too and an outdoor motion sensor from Simply LEDs. Please some one help me..
No one helped so I ended up buying 2 more globes and 2 of the outdoor calla lights.
Thanks OP :)
