So just recently I had a spooky experience with my google home.
It was the still of night, quiet as can be. Not a word was spoken, by me or anything around me. Randomly, my google home activates and says "Help I'm stuck inside a device, just kidding I like it in here." Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience?
I'm a little unsettled and may not sleep tonight.

Do you have another Google Home or do other people have access to your Google Home? Maybe someone's Broadcasting from their Google Assistant to your Google Home device

Google home can be operate by app on your device too. Is this app registered any device which is not use by you? Because I think someone is playing with you by commanding google home through app on device.
Could be a possibility however, both my roommates have iphones and were both out at the time. I'll ask them though even though knowing them they wouldn't tell the truth

It's odd that the random voices are what spooks you rather than installing a device from the world's largest data collector that sells access to your data to anyone that can pay so that they can make more money than that by causing you to do something - all without your knowledge.

Fear is a pretty primal, lizard-brain type response. Not too surprising it hasn't caught up to reacting to the data insecurity ramifications of always-connected devices yet.
I know you said there was no noise, but it would be a good idea to check assistant history just in case there is a recording there.
Open the home app, go to account in the bottom right corner, click on my activity, scroll down to assistant, find the date/time that it activated and see if there is a voice command there that you can play.

Was 'where are you' sent by voice or text? Could you listen to the recording if it was by voice?
Just looked, every other voice command I've given it has a play button but the one saying "where are you?". It was definitely a voice command though.
@Wazkick3n: If you click on 'details' what does it say there? That might give some clues or confirmation.
It should be something like this:

It also has a map.
You can send feedback via that screen about the command to Google.
@hamza23: Interesting. It's definitely from my device. Maybe I had an absence seizure and said "Ok google, where are you ajdbjanaja?" on my way down.
@Wazkick3n: If it says both 'started by hotword' and 'google home' then there should be a recording, good idea to send feedback in this case as others suggested.
If it says 'google app' and only has 'your device' and not 'google home' as well then that would indicate it's maybe a text command from your phone, not by voice or google home.

Mine randomly turns on when it hears my conversations or from the TV. I have the accessability enabled so it makes a sound when it is enabled.
Seems like it just activates when it hears any resemblance of it's trigger words.
But its scary it activated in dead silence. Time to tape over all your webcams?
