KitchenAid Anti-Fatigue Soft Mat $32.99 @ Costco (Membership Required)

170

Further to this deal, the KitchenAid mat at Costco is slightly cheaper but you do require a membership in order to purchase it. I'll provide actual dimensions shortly as soon as I can track down a tape measure. I'm standing on one as I write this and I can attest that it's quite comfy and excellent for a sit-stand desk.

Edit: I updated the price to the correct one. I've also confirmed the dimensions of the mat at 970mm long x 520mm wide.

2nd edit: They come in a range of colours, too: Brown, Black, Beige, Charcoal. Black must be the most popular because I had to lift a (very heavy) stack of them out of the way while Mrs. C tugged on the black one in the middle of the pile.

  • According to Amazon it's 20" x 38" or roughly 0.5x1m.

  • where abouts in the NL store ?
I'll grab one on the way home.

It was in the aisle with the manchester, just behind all the lollies.

  • I have one from Costco and can attest it's very comfortable and would be great for sit to stand desks. I'm using it in the kitchen though :)

  • Is this worth it?

Depends on the value you place on your feet and spine, I guess. I use one with a sit-stand desk and it makes a big difference for me. Plus, because I bought it to use at work for OH&S purposes it's completely tax-deductible (or so my accountant says, check with yours first to be certain).

      • Thanks. Had never even considered one before.

  • How is it compared to cheap yoga mat?

    • It's a thick, spongy closed-cell foam with a durable outer which should hold up against most shoes that don't have pointy heels. I find it very comfortable to stand on even while wearing my RM Williams boots, even more so with softer shoes. YMMV

  • Heaps available in morrabbin Costco store. Lucky to find brown right at bottom somehow. Seems very comfy.

  • Purchased one at Casula NSW. They’re located in the middle of the store near the front just after the confectionary. Using it in the kitchen and love it - considering getting another one!
