Sadly the free coffee deal is coming to an end. Just wondering if there's someone here who has worked at 7-Eleven and happens to know the coffee they are using?
Does Anyone Know What Coffee They Use at 7-Eleven?

Bet me
okay, say.. $5?
Yes you can grab some of it here
Well it was freshly ground this morning.
I’m not sure. I think it tastes ok for $1 or sometimes free.
7/11 Australia is owned by the same company that owns Starbucks AU
have also read the use the same roaster as McDonald’s.Exactly why I want to know the beans they use.
Also curious if their auto coffee machine is available to the public? If so how much $?
One franchisee told me they cost $35k ea. If anyone knows otherwise please tell us.
@Cheeper: Sounds about right, I mean that machine is an engineering marvel.
@lightfoot: It may be in a servo and it may be cheap but I find it to be the best cappuccino.
Coffee preference / taste varies from person to person… but worldwide the 7-11 setup has a lot of fans.
Doesn't taste as sour as McD coffee.
It's not fantastic stuff but I find its no worse than mccafe and alot more consistent from one day to the next.
Also mccafe coffee is about as expensive as it gets in sydney
Just a guess but maybe these;

That's the company that leases the machines to 7/11 so there's a good chance that the agreement is to also purchase beans from them.
Last time I saw them refill it came from a 7/11 branded bag of beans.
I have a friend who works at 7/11. He said they use Starbucks coffee beans.
When he told you that, had he worked for 96 hours straight and thought he was some sort of humming bird?
This comment is the only clue so far.
Sorry I know this doesn't answer the question, but recently read an article that touched on 7eleven coffee
