Good monitor at this price range, if you're willing to wait a week or so then the new LG-27GL850 is about $50 cheaper ($749rrp) with similar specs.
This monitor has been reviewed perfectly by RTings
Pros:
- 95% DCI-P3 quoted, 129% sRGB measured and 85% Adobe RGB
- It has a fast response time 6.94ms @144hz), low input lag
- Supports FreeSync and is 'G-sync Compatible'
- 10 Bits Panel bit depth (8-bit + FRC) (Not true 10 bit but those are expensive af)
Cons:
- Poor contrast (like most IPS panels)
- Bad colour bleed that could cause issues for photo editing
- HDR-10 = Poorly drawn star certification for "at least you tried"
- Response time performance varies across refresh rate range making it a little tricky sometimes TLDR: Just run at the highest 144hz
I dream of an affordable monitor for my photo editing needs that is 144Hz.
I don't really game anymore but web browsing/doing anything in 144Hz is so much better.
