I just came in today at Chadstone. A Guy was standing at the parking entrance giving out cards saying its free valet parking promo today~

Theft insurance doesn't matter if you willingly give them the keys.
If everyone parks there, doesn't it defeat the purpose of it?
Can't help but laugh whenever I see valet parking in Australia. It's so non-existent here. In a city of 5 million there's maybe a handful of places that offer it. In the USA, everywhere from movie theatres, restaurants and hospitals have valet. Yes it costs extra but for some reason so many Americans don't mind paying for it. There are probably some Americans who have never even parked their own car before.
Agreed. I would never hand over my keys for my 350z
It's one of those American inventions that just never took off here, like so many others. I really like the idea, though, especially in Australian cities where parking is so difficult.
