I'm about to buy a Qantas Club membership.

Are there any tips or tricks to get it any cheaper than the price listed on the website?

Fly enough to get gold status. Easiest if you do it for work … and manage to do a couple of east-west flights in business class.

google corporate schemes. plenty of companies allow you to join up under them. probably a small fee, but still works out cheaper.

otherwise if you only want it for lounges (excluding lax), just keep buying passes on the ozbargain marketplace. can buy at-least 10passes+ for the cost of membership. and if your using that many, your probably getting close to gold FF anyways.

Ah for the good old days lifetime memberships and they were around $2K all up…..
