Furniture Removal / Disposal Services in Sydney

Hey y'all.

I'm looking to make some changes in my place and I have stuff that's too much at moment for me to get down the stairs and outside for collection.

It's not in good enough shape for a charity organisation to accept it

Can anyone recommend me a company for this job?

Thanks in advanced

If your stuffs are still good, you can always call the salvation army who will be happy to come and collect.

    • Ah yeah.
I better edit it to say the stuff isn't in good enough shape for vinnies/sallys, etc.

It all came from there originally heh

Try gumtree freebies.. or post on airtasker to remove and dispose.

Airtasker to remove and put for council spring clean outs

      • Ok cool
I'm just worried about this lounge I got
It nearly killed the vinnies guys last time.
I had to patch their wounds and give them whiskey.

So I was sorta hoping for like old wrestlers who are now removslists

If you were nearby, I could loan you my toddlers for a day and they would tear it apart for you so you can move it downstairs by yourself. :)

    • Haha.

There is a few day care places near me

      I hadn't considered it :)

Depending on which Council area you're in, you can book the garbos to pick up bulky items. Don't be one of the jackasses that dump rubbish on the footpath.

I don't think we have to book around here
They drive around and collect everything once a month.

At least they used too. Most people seem to take everything before they get here.

I put and old pc out there and even the motherboard screws were gone!

You probably do have to book but where I live, one person in the street books and everyone else puts their stuff out once they see a pile forming.

  • If it is no good, there is no reason you can’t pull it apart to make easier to remove. Use a knife to cut the fabric. Use a hammer or saw to cut the frame. Take it out piece by piece.
