Kogan SIM spam calls

Hey all, just wanted to know if anyone else was experiencing spam calls to relatively new Kogan prepaid SIMs?

I activated a new Kogan SIM about two weeks ago to get some extra data this month on top of my regular Telstra number; didn't give out my number or sign up to anything, and I'm already receiving spam calls. Something similar happened to a different Kogan number I used at the start of the year as well. Can't recall the last time if ever I received spam on my Telstra number, despite using it for everything I sign up to.

I wonder if these numbers are recycled or Kogan sells the data… Anyone know?

    Most likely recycled numbers.

    My assumption is that they are recycled

    I know amaysim recycles numbers. I receive texts with some else's first name and Uber Eats is already registered to the number.

    Not to derail OP post but I am a Telstra number and get spam calls from some crazy long numbers, generally starting +216 xx xxx xxx. I have signed up for the anti spam list but that is only for Australia I am guessing. The number always changes so I can't just block a single number. Any tips on how I could fix this?
