Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Camera glass broken. Replacement?

I am wondering if anyone else also has similar situation like me and what did you do?

I did Google and it shared some replacement process but want to know if anyone else actually did this?

as for the process you might need to take the back of the phone off and do it as shown in the video. Make sure you heat it up quite hot since the glue should be pretty strong

I haven’t broken that phone but I did successfully change the screen on an iphone. The colours are off but much cheaper than getting someone else to do it. The screws are tiny though so if you’re a bit of an clutz, don’t attempt
