Had to buy a US $10 eshop giftcard from Amazon, but if you're lucky enough to have some gold points remaining it's essentially free!
It's a great rhythm game and some DLC packs are also free.

I asked the same last time a cheap Switch game from the US store got posted. I still haven't tried it as that had expired by the time I got to it. You need to have a US account and can be purchased directly via the site. I'll need to try it for myself.
"You just change your account region to the region you are wanting to buy from. Done this many times myself. Only catch is it won’t work if you have credit in your account."
I’d create a second account rather than swapping region. That way you can load up on 15% off credit on your AU one when sales happen.

Only option AFAIK is to purchase prepaid digital codes from USA amazon. You get the codes and enter into the us shop. Minimum is $10.

Also pcgamesupply are good, you can use PayPal to pay for it there.
Is there a guide on how to setup and have 2 accounts on a switch?
1) create a new account and set it to the US
2) buy a gift card from BestBuy for the Nintendo US store
3) use the address BestBuy provide if you’re international so it’s legit and won’t get flagged as a fake transaction by them
4) load the card on your new US Nintendo account
5) buy the game
6) …
7) profit?

Also worth noting that Bastion and Transistor are only US$2.99; both awesome games at a heavy discount.
Transistor is US$3.99, still a good price.
Play Asia also sell the cards, they charge US$10.99 for the US$10 card but no hassles and they take PayPal. Used them when buying the discounted Starlink pack from the US store last year.

If it's a mistake then they've made the same one on the Canadian store also. It's $1.13 there today plus 6c tax.
