Lightning deal runs out in about 3 hours.

Does what it says on the tin. I got one last week.

Cheapest at the moment - figured someone might need one and beats paying $149. Just claimed 28 degrees price protection and plan to claim again when it drops.

    Has been cheaper before..

    • How low makes it a good deal? It was $64.59 on prime day…

      • Sure that wasn't the 800A?

        • +1

No, it had a code for $51 off and they ran a lightning sale that knocked off another 33%. Only lasted about 5 minutes.

1500A or 800A? The 1500A model appears to have been $98.99 on first day of Prime day sales…

      • i was one of the lucky ones to get it for $64.59

did you get it for that price?

        • No, I'd already bought one and the code turned out to be single-use.

Should be aiming for sub $100

    • Do you have to pay when claim the price drop? Or you just call and get the differences.
Also, Can you claim pro e drop as well if deal is like Amazon that's you have to apply certain codes to reduce by $51 further after 33% lightning deal?

      • +1

        Sorry i dont follow?

        Example
        Buy at 149.99 last month
        This month drops to 119.99.
Submit claim. Within 10 business days get notice if its been rejected ot approved.

Im not sure how they monitor very limited time deals such as stacking lighting deal and coupons however.

Feedback from whirlpool and ozbargain says deals attained by using a coupon is fair game.

      • just wait for another lightening deal on amazon..

there is no guarantee you will get your money back with 28 degrees

        • Just thought id report back to say my 28 degrees claim was approved.

          • @Jimothy Wongingtons: do you take a screenshot of the price with promo code apply and send to them
or just the link to that amazon product?

also what was the price you bought at
and how much is the sale price you claimed at?

            • @pinkybrain: No actually, you fill in the form, takes about 5 minutes.

              Confirm the make and model.
              Tell them what you paid.
Tell them what was the newer price.
              Tell them which stores respectively.

I paid full price 149. Claimed at 119 as per op.
              $30 credited.

Used mine today for the first time to help out a lady in a Carpark. Was very impressed how easy it was to use and that it still had a full charge after 3 months not being used

    • Its very easy to use too. Was thinking about buying a set for my parents and my missus.
