Alcatel U5 3G Telstra Locked. How to Get Network Code?

Hi,

I've just got the phone from telstra(https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/477501). I am amaysim customer and I can't use it. It asks for Network Unlocking Code.
Can anyone help?

    Thanks for reply. But is there any other way? Telstra will charge $80. The phone is $30. Any Cheaper way?

  From Telstra Site

  $80 for devices never activated or only active for six months or less
  $25 for devices activated for six months to 2 years.
  2 years or higher is free.

  There might be some sellers that do it online cheaper? Though no idea which are good and which are dodgy.

  As far as I understand, Android themselves never put locks on phones, so typically Telstra will make their own version of the OS that locks the SIM. Basically this means if you're inclined to try it, know what to do and willing to risk it, I think you can install a standard ROM that comes without Telstra bloat and removed lock for free.
