Issues with ShopBack investigations

I am just wondering if anyone's had issues with shopback taking forever to finish an investigation.

My money is decent right now, but I'm trying to save as much as possible so that I can set myself up for future ventures and such.
Normally I wouldn't buy a VPN but on 4/5/19 there was a decent sale on nordVPN and that included a 80% cash back provided by shopback.
So it worked out to be fairly cheap and the savings+cashback made the purchase fine for the limited use I had for it (Just american netflix for a few series).

Anyway, I gave it some time to show up on shopback automatically (the cashback process) but when it didn't after a few days - week. I posted a request for manual investigation.
The date for this originally showed it'd be completed by June, then extended to July 19th.
They've asked for the same information multiple times AND it was included in the original request, as well as additional information, which I gave them.
Obviously the July 19th has come and gone almost a month ago, their help/support email is ignoring me and I've heard no news on the cash back.

So I'm wondering if this is a common issue or I'm just getting the shit treatment.

Would like to hear if anyone has had similar issues.

    Had the same issue with ShopBack not working for nordvpn! Said the investigation would take 32 days - ended up just cancelling the account for the refund

    Got no cashback for the Xbox Game Pass and the recent Amazon $2 cashback. I've basically given up with their service. But cash rewards seems to work every time.

      Cash rewards hasn't failed me.
      Its worked even when I've forgot to make the purchase via their links before.

      Shopback I've had two issues. Both on the biggest cashbacks I should get from them.
      First one eventually paid out but I had to contact them a few times as well as correct the amount they were going to give me.
      Second one is nordvpn which hasn't even left the "investigating" stage.

    Are you all saying that the Cashback didn’t track or that ShopBack didn’t pay out on a tracked payment?

      Didn't track, provided proof of the order and that I purchased using the shopback link, they haven't paid out and its been "investigating" for 4-4.5 months.

    Same here, I used shop back app and link from app itself and browser within shopback app and still it didn’t track. I will cancel it now. And try again from chrome tomorrow again

    I’ve had a couple of cash back rejections and I do wonder if I get all the advertised bonus cashbacks listed (eBay, Amazon, etc), too many for me to keep track.

    In saying that, I do get some, and the ones I do get are AWESOME (ie, I spend $5 on group and get more than half back) or eBay for something that’s cheap, and get most of it back.

    Recently, the Ben and jerry deal didn’t track, and after asking for investigation, it’s not manually there for tracking. So let’s see how it goes.

    This right here is the reason i wont use ShopBack
    Many posts about regarding them not paying out.

    Cashrewards never fails me.

      It just feels so weird.
      nordVPN was dead set that they'd been responding to shopback and shopback told me that nord wasn't emailing them back at all.

      I believe nord, they have no reason to lie.
      I've provided more than enough proof for shopback and they're even ignoring my emails now.

      Genuinely considering legal action to have them release the proof of contact and conversations with nord regarding this situation.
      Really think something is off here.

    It has failed me on GOT whiskies from BWS. It tracked but only the standard rate was paid. I raised the ticket, few emails to see the receipt, done that still only standard rate. I missed about $90. Never going to ShopBack ever again.

      Yeah mine is meant to be around 76 USD cash back.

      Wonder why it seems that they're mostly ignoring the big returns.
