  • This is my go-to PSU bible:

    Cross-reference with this:

But really ask yourself: Do you need 750W? You'd need a lot of expensive components to draw that much wattage, and if you really did need that much juice, consider if it's wise to connect all of that to a <$100 part that could fry them all.

Never cheap out on a PSU.

Buy cheap RAM, CPU, GPU, drives, etc. but never get a cheap PSU to save money; it will be the worse choice you ever make.

Get a gold certified PSU from a reputable brand like EVGA/Corsair.

If the PSU dies it cant literally kill every other component.

    1. Why three PCI-E connectors? Even the high end GPUs only take two?

    2. Under $100? No chance if you want a good one. Or you want it to actually put out 750w.

    3. Why 750w? What gear are you running?

You need to spend more or reduce your expectation. I'm not sure what you intend to do with 750W, but for most systems with a single GPU, you'll be fine with 550W. I used to run a 7960X (which chews power like no tomorrow) along with a 1080 Ti on 650W just fine.

  • go to jonnyguru.com and post in power supply suggestions with your specs etc. They are up to date with everything and will check webpages etc. Seems like they favour/are sponsored by Corsair. Still have had other brands recommended. They checked umart and recommended a Thermaltake toughpower 750w and Cougar 750w. I have a strix vega 64 + amd setup.
