Subjecting an infant to quinoa, poor baby.

      Why the hate?

Quinoa seeds are rich in protein, dietary fiber, B vitamins, and dietary minerals in amounts greater than in many grains. Because of the high concentration of protein, ease of use, versatility in preparation, and potential for increased yields in controlled environments, it has been selected as an experimental crop in NASA's Controlled Ecological Life Support System for long-duration human occupied space flights.

I have no hate for quinoa, I eat it as part of a strict training diet as an amateur boxer.

It does tastes like dirt though, and the joke is about the baby not getting a choice in the matter, which itself is humourous to allow a developing infant a choice to begin with. But unlike me, a grown physically fit adult who willingly eats the dirt for sports performance, I am sure the baby would take a hard pass.

Let's hope the baby does not turn into one of those vegan nutters, am I right?

Many babies eat dirt anyway, so quinoa would be an upgrade. My 1yo will eat anything you put in her hand without even looking at it.
