I need to get about 20 Philips Hue Downlights. Unfortunately missed the latest amazon sale. Any idea where I can get them at a good price?
Philips Hue Downlight - Need about 20 of Them
Comments
I ordered 4 recently, the best price I could find was DickSmith @ $45 for the white ambiance. https://www.dicksmith.com.au/da/shop/?q=philips+hue
Some very big price differences out there. I'm sure a dedicated OZBargainer would price beat that somewhere.
But yes - $39.95 @ Lectory as mentioned by jugsy
Hold out a bit of you can. Amazon usually drop them into the 40s every couple of months. Otherwise, I often see them in-store at Bunnings for 55
If you're buying 20 find somewhere that sells them and ask for their best price for 20. Doing similar (buying LIFX lights) there's been no trouble getting a discount code from their support when asking for a good price for bulk, may be harder directly from Philips since they're bigger, but resellers will still have some scope.
May I ask how you'll use the 20 bulbs? — ie, what does your set up look like?
Not sure if we are able to buy direct from Amazon UK anymore but they used to have great promos on the hue range. I used to buy the 3 bulb starter packs and sell the spare hub, meant my bulbs cost less than $40 a go.
Thanks all. Ill keep an eye on Amazon and lectory. Im after the 90mm ones around 800-900lumen.
Keep an eye on lectory
