Is there such things as “ day fares only to interstate where you go in the morning and c9me back in the evening?
Are they any cheaper or same price ?
Also do any airlines still have “mystery flights” or are they a thing of the past?

OP’s from Sydney; neither of those places are viable for a day trip due to limited flights. Only possible cities would be Melbourne and Brisbane

Stay away from mystery flights on Air Koryo.
if that was a such thing, id be the first to book
Take some resealable bags with you.
It'll keep your kidneys reasonable sterile.
you mean Malaysia Airlines?
Also, for Same Day:
https://mysteryflights.com.au/packages-prices/
3 days prior to departure, notification detailing flight times and flight numbers (but not your destination!) will be sent to you.
3 days prior to departure your Mystery Flight itinerary folder will be delivered. This contains all the information you need regarding your flights, accommodation and transfers.
If you open your Mystery Flight itinerary folder your destination will be revealed.
If you wish to keep your destination a mystery until the last minute the flight times and flight number notification is all you need until after you have checked-in at the airport.
Bookings can be made for weekdays or weekends. Flights will be with either Qantas, Virgin Australia or Jetstar Airways.
Has anyone done say the 1 or 2 nights? Where did you end up for the destination?
$295 for a 1 day mystery flight? Or $500pp for an overnighter? That's pretty expensive - you could do your own bookings for considerably less. Maybe not so much a mystery then but if you really want to be surprised then get a mate to book it for you.
Never thought there are still mystery flights! Interesting. I'll find a good one!
