    How much are they normally?

    • +1

      $250

Middle button failed after 18 months of use. This is a common problem with this model (google "Logitech G502 Middle button") and if you value the middle button, then stay away.

    • I have the OG version and apart from the rubber grip on both sides wears out, it still works like day one, and yes, i use the middle button to throw grenade in games on a daily basis

Funny thing is - I don't game too much and use it mainly for browsing for opening or closing tabs. I'm not whacking it hard etc. It's just a bit annoying paying $149 (on special at the time) for a premium gaming mouse that failed so quickly.

        • I paid 80$ at that time and I feel bad for you,:(

          • @HashBrown: Lol.. Been a while now - bought it when first came out at that price. Oh well.

      • “middle button to throw grenade in games on a daily basis”, hard core WM fan? XDDDD

    • Loooooove my middle button, so thanks for the advice.

    • Middle button on mine (wired version) has indeed gone bad after a couple of years.

  • Light speed vs Proteus Spectrum?

    • -1

      Coloured LEDs. Mechanics same.

Proteus Spectrum is very old, since then G502 has been updated with a HERO sensor(wired) then this litespeed(wireless) version. From LinusTechTips' review the whole mouse has been redesigned with the litespeed refresh but it is quite pricey ,while you can find the older version for a lot less. You should consider whether wireless matters to you but I can tell you right away, the sensor in the OG G502 are already really really good to begin with.

I am on my second G502 (wired version) after the left mouse button gave out after about 1-2 years of heavy use. Great mouse but they don't last forever.

Good of Logitech to calculate the cost of the energy savings we'd make with the upgraded sensor, then bake it into the retail price…

  • What? They jacked up the price by selling you one less wire? I am not impressed XDDDD

    • Dongles are coming soon

  • i got a G903 wireless in november for $154 at bing lee, great mouse but it doesn't turn off automatically like my G602 did, i have to turn the mouse off from the bottom when i shut the PC down.

  • Wow over $200 RRP for a gaming mouse, this is new to me, the most expensive I have ever spent is $59 for the G502.

That is a great price and i just picked one up!

I was looking at the Steel Series Rival 650 and Corsair Dark Coir as they were around my budget… but then saw this and had to snap it up!

I have the G903 which I changed to from the wired 502…

I love being wireless but I'm not totally sold on the shape. Loved the 502…. Wonder how much a second hand G903 sells for….
