Overseas delivery

Hi Guys

I recently sold my Xbox console via auction on EBay. And the bidder actually is in Vanuatu. I am wondering I can send a game console to overseas or not. If I can, how much is the charge?

If I want to decline the selling, what I need to do? It is my first ebay selling so still got lots to learn.

Thank you in advanced

Vince

  • ok.

Did you make an exclusion list for this listing(better if you do)?
Postage will vary from courier to courier, there are many to choose from (it'll be heaps though)
    Auspost, Toll, etc

If I want to decline the selling, what I need to do?

Contact seller and explain your situation
Then just basicall decline the sale and relist and HAVE an exclusion list

    • You may be able to send to Vanuatu by Australia Post. Weigh the packed box and go to the AusPost website to check out rates and delivery times.

  • I guess you have not included postage in the deal. So its up to the buyer to accept this cost. Like Stellaoriens mentions, Go to Aust post site.

Obviously you should factor into the cost insurance. Not so much for the buyer but for yourself, dealing with Paypal should the buyer say the unit wasn't received would be a pain.

Look the the buyers history as well. Have they had disputes with vendors, have they bought from Oz in the past. Look at what they have purchased, are the just trinkets or items of some value.

  • Seems I cause lots of trouble for myself. In my post I did mention 25 dollars as standard delivery. But that's for domestic only. Is it possible that I just tell the buyer that the auction is for domestic bidder only? I never have a thought that someone from the other side of the ocean will win the auction. Anyway, first time, good lesson.
