I have it. I put an mdf sheet in the lower section of it to make it a flat surface. Until I got used to it I had to keep pushing the drawers in all the way so they remain in place. It can wobble a bit with the wheels, even when locked.
Happy with the purchase. Good enough for the price.
Go and check it out and have a play with it. See how it feels if its stiff and rigid (hahaha) the tools will change the way the box feels cause of the weight.
You can get kincrome for the same price on sale if you look around.
I tried to do this when I was buying this one and they didn't have a demo model. The only two their were still in their boxes.
Repco occasionally have sales on tool chests that are better quality and cheaper than SCA if you aren't in a hurry to buy one.
I agree with the thors_hammer. It does wobble a touch, and the drawers are designed to need an extra little push to close all the way and lock in.
I'm happy with mine. I was suprised at how big this thing is too (couldn't get it in the car without taking the wheels off), but at the same time, after putting a few tools in I'm glad I didn't get anything smaller.
Set up takes a little bit. The top part is inside the bottom but you can't just pull it out, you need to unscrew the back to get it out. Not a big deal but don't expect to put the top in the bottom easily like some of the others can.
I would've loved to get the tool pro 28" but the price, even 50% off, was no where near this.
I bought it through eBay when they had a 20% off weekend and SCA also had it 50% off. Worked out just below $300.
Despite what a lot of people say about getting another, better, brand cheaper, I looked for months and nothing could beat this for size vs price that I could find.
Happy to answer any questions you might have.
Should be okay, it's just a sheet metal box on wheels.
I wouldn't use their tools though. Broke a ratchet which resulted in my knuckles flying straight into a lots of steel parts.
