    Does it contain activated almonds?

      It is paleo, apparently! haha

This guy will do anything for a dollar.

Pete Evans shouldn't be trusted with anything, let alone your pets.

I don't think this is a valid neg vote? Do you think this rando makes the recipe or some shit?

Is there something valid that's wrong with this product or are you projecting because you don't like him?

      • Just out of curiosity, if this was branded as Adolf Hitler's Dog Food, would you buy it?

        • -2

          Why edit your original comment?

Just out of curiosity, if this was branded as Donald Trump Dog Food, would you buy it?

          Guess it wasn't as funny…?

Thanks for bringing an irrelevant point up, I don't give a (profanity) about politics, I have no idea who this Pete Evans (profanity) is and yet no one has still brought up any valid information to neg. Nice bra

@Kozhutki: Ouchies, someone is really offended! Was just trying to make it more generic as if people didn't know about Pete Evans perhaps they don't know why Donald Trump is also a bad character reference, I just wanted to make sure I chose a name that more people would recognise why it was bad and chosen. I think supporting a person who promotes natural living over vaccines and could be directly linked to a big movement of anti-vac which is already claimed lives in Australia. It should be a crime to prey on the weak minded at the cost of lives imo.

            • @onlinepred: I'm not offended, I just don't get why people dickride and not post any informative comments for people like myself who aren't in the know of """australian celebrities"""

              • +1

@Kozhutki: Exactly, I wasn't sure if people would know American celebs like Donald Trump ;-)

Now you know, and hopefully won't support this scum of society.

    I thought this was an April fools joke…then I realised I wasn't in April…

    • +5

With Pete Evans promotions, every day is April Fools Day!

  • +3

Retailer isn't dodgey, but Pete Evans is.

Did he just make human food for animals? This is BS.

Chicken Meal, Turkey Meal, Duck Meal, Tapioca, Chicken Broth, Poultry Oil, Marine Fish Oil, Arrowroot, Coconut Oil, Kelp, Natural Pysillium Fibre, Whole Egg Powder, Apple, FOS, Organic Acid Blend, Yucca Shidigera, Turmeric, Green Lipped Mussel, Vitamin Supplements (A, D, E, K, B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B9, B12, Choline, Biotin), Organic Trace Mineral Supplements (Potassium, Zinc, Iron, Copper, Manganese, Iodine, Selenium), Natural Antioxidants (mixed tocopherols and rosemary extract) Vitamin E, Taurine, Vitamin C.

It has Tumeric. Like wtf. He is so incredibly special. Negging because Pete is a scumbag.

    • Could be a cheap lunch…

      • +2

It's more expensive than meat though haha. $50 for 1.5kg of food is a rip off, especially when it's not backed by any scientific evidence at all.

  • Despite this blokes reputation, I've heard this is actually decent dog food?

    • +4

Given it is cat food. Although, dogs can eat cat food though, they recommend, not the other way around.

      • Whoopsie daisy.

        • The cat food is decent as well. Good ingredients rather than cheap filler.

          • @Thrift: Yep just have to be aware of allergic reactions as many of these ingredients aren't recommended for pets.

  • +9

Knobhead (Pete Evans, not the OP).

  • +8

He’ll be telling you not to vaccinate your pets next because they might get autism, or something. There are better cat foods out there.

  • This is a pretty good site for reviewing pet foods.

Put Pete Evans to one side, the ingredients list is pretty damn good, protein is high, carbs are low. Our cats are doing very well on it.
