Has anybody else been approached by Michelle from Dinodirect.com??

Just wondering if any other ozbargain members received an email from Michelle from Dinodirect?

This is the email I got sent (see below…).

I was also curious as to how this scheme of theirs was going to work, so i responded asking for more information… I have copied/pasted both her emails below… very dodgey!

and then the 2nd email

    Dino is banned here anyway and any links posted will be removed.

    Only Michelle? I have also been contacted by "sugar", "zoe", "vanessa", "emily" and "maggie" from DinoDirect as well. Sorry still trying to dig up their Facebook images :P

      I highly suspect they are located in China where Facebook was banned.

    I've been contacted by "Macka", "Ted", "Bruce" and "Chavez". All within the last month.

    They all made requests I found quite unusual and included very innappropriate pictures.

    No mention of dino direct though.

    Hi Michelle,

    I am not supposed to liaising with merchants or post any "deals" under influence of merchants. It's against Ozbargain spirit. In ozbargain community, sockpuppeting or any similar activities are strictly not tolerated.

    I am sorry that I can't accept any financial benefit to help you promote your products or website.

    I sense a money making venture here - it states ozbargain.com, not ozbargain.com.au…

    So set up a dummy page on ozbargain.com, flood it with dino direct deals, collect the commission and then restore the .com redirect to .com.au.

    I doubt they'll pay up, but if they do it's some quick cash for not too much effort :)
