    Blatant advertising post

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood PS3 for $39.90 from Australian store with a physical location:
    http://www.dungeoncrawl.com.au/p-2493-assassins-creed-brotheā€¦

Some stuff in the sale might be a good deal, but the sale itself isn't a bargain at all.

agree. Was about to link DC link also. No bargains to be had here.

Also RDR has been seen at 29.95 at Big W\Target from time to time

      • Took me 20 seconds with shopbot to find it. Obviously Rep didn't bother doing any research.

    • Thats not comparing apples to apples. DC never sell any decent legit stock. Everything they have is grey imports. So no thanks. I'd rather buy from Ozgameshop, the hut or something. Thats probably where they get their stock from in the first place. Their tactic is to use "Australian Compatible version" to fool people

    • EB have no concept of how a "sale" works.
Selling things at "50% off" the original RRP something was released at 2 years ago is not a sale. It's depreciation.

I was going to say, EB dont really compare to other places, but most of them are electric copy etc… however, the games in general here can be had cheaper elsewhere…from store… for actual physical media.

    • Yeah, DC is to buy the media, not just an electronic version.

    This sale is a joke.

  • Yep advertising. Come back when you actually have some bargains, hence the name OzBARGAIN.

But But they have Duke Nukem for $108 and LA Noire for $108 and AFL Live for $108!

  • Gamecafe shows 12 sites cheaper for RDR PS3, incl. del, plus Amazon.co.uk was only 6c higher.

Must be hard for physical shops competing against online, but surely the rep didn't think this would fly on OzB?

    Now $98.92
    Was $109.91

    Yeah, NO.

  • Agree these are just normal prices. Need 50% off to be a "sale" :)

  • Very Poor

  • Oh WOW, Portal 2 down to $87! What a bargain….not. You can get it at JB Hi-Fi for $69.. Hell most things are still cheaper there
