Xiaomi Mi Note 3 4G International Version (128GB / 6GB / NFC / Snapdragon 660 $203.49 USD / $299.35 AUD @ Gearbest

50

First post, please be nice.

I have the 64GB version, fairly old now, but for a 128GB ROM, 6GB RAM, NFC, I think it is not a bad deal.

NFC but no band 28
SD660 chip
6GB RAM
128GB ROM
Not the most durable screen/glass backplate

While software support is waning for this, there are still other custom ROM's available for those who would consider this.

man thats expensive for that old of phone. redmi 7 or note 7 would be way better

Yeah, but no NFC? Less RAM? More expensive? It depends on what your requirements are.

If budget is not tight, spend an extra $100 and get 9T instead. Just keep looking for a deal on eBay. Has NFC and B28.

    • +1

Hi! Are you sure 9T , has B28. Im after to buy one..

      • +1

        9T definitely has B28.

      • +1

Lots of confirmation from other buyers. It’s an international version of k20 so it does have.

    • Pls advice the link with $399 9T.
Only found $499 9T deal in ozbargain.

      • You missed it. Last week Ebay had 15% off code for Ebay plus items (128gb version, 465*0.85 = 395, seller: perfect_mission). Or Tobydeals usually have sale @ 456 for 128gb and 420 for 64gb. Just keep watching then.

  • It says AUD$270.09 on mine.

    • Did you add the Gerry Harvey tax

    • It's not 100% clear, but it doesn't mention whether the GST is included, so the 299 is with GST included. An admin updated this, so they are likely to know better than me.

    • +2

When you attempt to checkout, GST is included right before you pay.

If you have $299, a similar phone with less storage is the Umidigi F1 Play 6/64Gb B28 - the Helio P60 ~ SDM660, phone is from Australian seller…

    • Umidigi reviews are poor generally. The Xioami option is less risky.

    • This one is not bad but if you care about updates and the chipset, better choose Xiaomi. And I think warranty from Umidigi is only 1 yr too.

      • The reason to suggest the Umidigi:
        1) It's from an Australian seller with GST, Paypal protection and Australian consumer law. Gearbest is only GST.
        2) The F1 Play is vanilla Android 9, it has B28, and it has expandable memory if you don't use the 2nd SIM slot.

So risk and warranty - Gearbest v Umidigi Official on eBay Australia…

      • The support for this model has been poor. I've had for about 16 months. It was only ever released in China officially, so the global stable rom updates aren't great and fairly infrequent when compared to other global models.
It is a good phone, the camera still holds up, I don't have any issues with speed and the battery life easily gets me through a day.
Another minor annoyance is that this has no headphone jack.

    Redmi note 7 PRO 6g/128g, $1399RMB, less than $300.

    https://item.jd.com/7437710.html#none

    Tested here

    Cost:¥1399.00
    Import Tax: ¥139.90
    Postage: ¥68.00
Postage rebate:-¥34.00 (Automatically applied, I didn't add anything)

    Total ¥1572.90 = $330ish

Redmi note 7 PRO not only a little bit better than Note3….A lot…..

    • Is it global one?

      • +2

No global version available I guess but You can unlock the BL and install customized global firmware yourself. The support for Miui is pretty good. I always buy CN version and install global version myself. Google MIUI EU and you may find it's pretty useful.
