Is the Apple pie McFlurry supposed to have one whole apple pie cut up in it or just half? I've got them from two places and one had a full pie and the other only had half…

Tried one once and it wasn't worth it, wouldn't recommend.
I found when i tried one the pastry was cold and soggy, not very nice. Next time i ordered a regular oreo mcflurry and an apple pie on the side, and crumbled it into the mcflurry myself and it was much much tastier
My second one was like that too, I'll probably ask them to cut up a pie straight up for me if I order another one. Don't like the idea of cut up pieces just sitting there…
I worked as a crew trainer in a mcdonalds that was in the top 4 in Queensland in around 2011-2012.
Apple pies lasted something like 3.5 hours in the heater. Most people would just get a new package and pack it up for 3.5 more hours instead of throwing it away (like beef/chicken etc)
Can't imagine how old the ones they decide to chop up would be.that sounds disgusting, no wonder some apple pies tasted off, though there have also been ones that were deep-fried fresh too.

Ok, I just called McDonalds because that is the easiest way to get an answer and they said that they cut up a bunch of apple pies every so often and then place a random amount of those pieces into the mcflurrie. they don't actually give you one or half it's just pieces.
