Best lawn mower are ones that don't have a catcher. They blend the grass back jnto the lawn. Such a time saver
how can we identify the blending feature ?
Buy a Honda , first time every time start 😆 btw these days electric is the way to go.
+1 bought 1 3 years ago and no issues at all. Just an annual oil change even though I only done 50-75 hours a year at most.
There's the American version and the Australia, the latter is a bit more robust but heavier.
Years back I had a Honda (Canadian build ) with Vitca body, no issues what so ever.
Do Masports still come with a lifetime replacement warranty on the catcher?
For best value for $ hard to beat Masport.
Masport make great mowers.
Mine is great and I use the mulcher for most of the year.
Why does it have to be petrol? I have a Ryobi 36v battery lawnmower I purchased from Bunnings and it is amazing. No more stuffing around with fuel and a full charge easily does my large yard.
My opinion…
because battery tech/compatibility issues in the future might mean finding a replacement difficult.
Batteries have an unknown shelf life and cost quite a bit to replace ($299 each for the 5.0ah battery).
Fuel isn't too bad, typically has a year shelf life and easily accessible.
Depending on how often you use your mower, we could debate which one is more environmentally friendly (rare metals vs petrol/oil/emissions).
The Ryobi battery pack has a 1.8 star rating (out of 5) on their own website.
I have the 3in1. Very happy and haven't had an issue.
Do you really need the mulcher?
