A Question of [SA] Law: Is it Legal to Sell an unwanted eCig kit?

So, I am the owner of a (California-designed, Asia-made) eCigarette "vaping" kit.

As I do Not use, promote, or sell such products (& never have), I'd like to know:

  • Is Advertising &/or Selling, of such a kit (by an individual) Legal, in SA…?

Does any1 know (ie, for sure? If so, Where is it written? How to confirm?)?

Thanks.

My only interest in this kit was its 18650 battery, included in its never-opened box; since then, I've found a source of (genuine Panasonic "NCR…") 18650 cells, at modest cost. (Even cheaper than lower cap. AA-size [ENELOOP?] cells, even when on-sale, here.)

BTW, UK gov't has - I'm told - been Promoting (if not also either providing) them - for Tobacco smokers, unable to quit smoking - as being Safer (vs inhaling Tobacco smoke, which - by the way - is RADIOACTIVE; Google: "Puffing on Polonium")

PS There's a recent TED talk [by a woman from India], which lists the health risks of "vaping" especially for young people. It's a talk worth viewing, IMO.)

  • These guys might be able to answer your question.

  • Tried to sell mine on Facebook and Gumtree but they deleted the ads. Perfectly legal otherwise AFAIK in QLD. SA seems to have banned online vape sales.

    • Nanny states, smh :\

  • Tons of vape gear on eBay…

    So how did you end up with it?

    • did you even read the post

      • I did read the post, and you are not the OP.

        I was wondering how the OP found out about "its 18650 battery" if it wasn't advertised in some way to them.

        It seem that the OP is not in favour of these products, so how did they end up with being the owner.

  • Sale of vape with nicotine content is illegal as far as I know;
