Due to a recent negative experience with Allianz, I am looking at moving my two cars and home and contents to a new provider.
Interested to hear if any recommendations, taking into account price, service (have you claimed?) and thoughts on your providers.
Options like online companies 'budget' and others like Woolworths / Aust. Post dont fill me with confidence. Anyone using similar type brands and think otherwise?
We have our house and contents, another house and 2 cars with the RAA and have been really happy. Had one claim when our hot water service was stolen and it was replaced that day.
Were you living in the house at the time it was stolen?? If so, that's damn ballsy. I've heard of hot water systems being stolen while houses are being built

Get few quotes, check their PDS. Pick the one that suite your needs within your budget. What best is what suite you best within your budget.

Try Suncorp or AAMI I think they do multiple insurance discounts
APIA aren't bad if you're 50+.
Had lightning damage from a storm- knocked out a lot of electronics/appliances. APIA were brilliant and moved quickly to replace everything.
