I lost a teaspoon during a move a couple years ago and picked up a replacement at a local kitchen store - appears to be identical in build and quality so I'm assuming they haven't cheaped out the formula after all these years
Have to agree, Victorinox quality is unmatched in their price point
They're easily the best value knives you can buy with high availability on the market
I have this set, it's pretty good.. $36 on ebay
Baby spew yellow handles! A crowd pleaser.
Thanks. That's the type of thought that can't be unthunked.
These are nice we have a set in our work kitchen.
Yep, we have them too and am quite pleased at how well they've lasted. If I had just one gripe, it's that the plastic handles are the kind that oil likes sticking to and just don't want to let go of. If you hand wash like I do, then those knives are bitch to wash if exposed to any other dishes that had oil in them.
We have about 8 to 10 Victroinox knives. Unmatched quality.
Suggest just buy them.
I have this knife, it's pretty sharp!
With its plastic handle and rounded tip people think it's just a normal table knife and get cut easily because they are not careful.
I gifted a set to my family with plenty of warnings and within a few days they almost all got cuts! (thankfully small)Who wants round tip steak knives? Like being handed those plastic coated crayola safety scissors when you asked for tin snips…
Trust me they are good, and very versatile - you can use them for everything from buttering bread to cutting steak or raw meat.
Raw meat you say? Excellent…
These are knives are really good but I just can't understand why they use the most pathetic lowly looking/feeling handles they could possibly find. Without using the knife they seem like a total joke
Being ugly is sometimes a staple look. Like Noctua fans.
You mean the fibrox handle?
Dishwasher safe
Grand Maitre series or any of their forged line have normal looking handles.
I have a rosewood handle chefs knife, quite nice :)
Yes, Victorinox has been around for years and is known for their Swiss army knife. Love the knife I've had for over 20 years now and is still sharp as ever.😊 Love the colour.
Just wanted to mention the Victorinox cutlery is amazing, not just the steak knives - my mum gifted me a full set when I first moved out 20 years ago and despite everyday use and being dishwasher cleaned that whole time the set still feels brand new - plastic has not faded and the steel still looks polished with zero rust spots. The serrated knives are still razor sharp after all this time.
So rare to be able to buy things of this quality these days - if you don't win this I would still recommend you buy it!
