Help Identify Which DC Cable I Need (for Dashcam)

Hello,

I currently have a BlackSys CF-100 (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Blacksys-CF-100-Car-Dash-Cams-Bl…) but I do not have the DC cable anymore.

I was wondering if anyone can identify what type of DC cable i need to get it to turn on (a link as well would be awesome) and if there is one with a USB end instead of a cigarette socket.

Thanks ^.^

The specifications list 12-24v for the input, so USB won't cut it unfortunately (USB only outputs 5v).

Your best bet would be to pop into a Jaycar or similar store with your dashcam and get them to check if they have something that would suit. I'd suggest something like this, assuming there is a suitable tip included: https://www.jaycar.com.au/12vdc-1-2a-car-power-adaptor/p/MP3…

There are USB cables that have a 5V to 12V boost circuit contained. They are usually terminated in the common 5.5mm x 2.1mm plug tip. You may need an adaptor to convert it to say 1.3mm if it is a different size. I don't think they are available with tips that aren't pre-moulded in that size, but you could always cut and solder the appropriate tip on to it.

      e.g. https://www.banggood.com/search/usb-12v-boost-cable.html
