Just saw this at Chadstone JB. I think it’s a pretty sweet deal if you are in the market for these gears.
CORSAIR ESSENTIAL GAMING BUNDLE contains
HS50 Stereo Headset
K55 RGB Keyboard
HARPOON RGB Mouse
MM100 Mousepad

Not enough RGB
Keyboard isn't mechanical unfortunately.
Would actually be good if you got a Corsair K70 but the K55 is just a membrane keyboard, which is often sold as a combo with a mouse for $119 AUD.
Honestly it's not very good value.
Tecware Phantom $69 - True Mechanical keyboard though it's Tenkeyless which some like and dislike
Logitech G102 $36 - Much better sensor compared to the Corsair Harpoon
Corsair HS50 $79 - Honestly i haven't looked at budget headsets in a while so there may be cheaper ones.
SteelSeries Qck Mouse Pad $17
Total = $201 for a much better Mouse and Keyboard
This is what i'd buy if i only had $200 give or take a couple dollars.
Yeah I paid ~$80 for the HS60 about a year ago, so not a great price on the HS50.
Kogan RGB mechanical keyboard for $35-39 on sale would be my pick. Sure, not in top league but actually incredible for the price. No idea on longevity but the base product seems solid. Have used phantom and it's really barely better than the Kogan rebrand.
I just wish Kogans TKL version was true RGB not the fake crap they did with it, im not a fan of full size keyboards.
Edit: nevermind I didn't see the TKL bit - yeah they really cheaped out on the "RGB" implementation on that one :/
Keyboard isn't mechanical but very solid. I've had one for almost a year now and it's still as fresh as the beginning.
Mouse is also sturdy and very responsive. Good size for most people.
That's the regular price. I agree it's good value, but it's rrp and has been for probably a year.
