absolutely not, would be a disaster for people with POANG armpits. The fabric absorbs stains and smells readily.
After a few years, this chair looks daggy as shiet and ready for the rubbish tip
Is this the chair they have set up being compressed down by some hydraulic looking machine?
Yes, but you need to pay extra for the hydraulic looking machine.
I've owned one of these chairs for over 20 years and every day I'm surprised at how POÄNGed it makes me feel.
Despite this I am trepidatious of the two thin steam-bent, laminated arms that support ones whole body weight and I regularly feel as if it might snap in half, lacerate my femoral artery and leave me bleeding on the floor… although to date it hasn't. I secretly enjoy the feeling of danger, also the thought that one of my less-well-regarded family members might be sitting on it when it happens.
I'm not sure whether I can recommend ownership, you need the right frame of mind and to accept certain possible fates.
TMI
The name is the same as the sound it makes when it turns into an ejector seat.
These are some of my FAVORITE bits of furniture.
They are so strangely comfortable, and feel like a truck air-seat due to the spring in them.
They won't break, they're triple laminate; most peoples furniture is single.
Seconded. It's the most comfortable chair I've ever owned, especially with the perfectly angled matching foot rest.
My wife hates it and keeps trying to get rid of it. Threatening to replace it with a giant la-z-boy massage chair maintains the status quo.
It's also $78 in WA till the end of July.
Foot stool is $69 (was $99).
Your wife must’ve negged you.
overrated IMO
Get a proper cushy reclining chair
For people with POÄNG Armpits ?
