Wittner shoes can be so cute, they often have really nice styles, but the few pairs I've owned have broken/worn out within a couple of months, and I always regret paying $$$ for them.
Yeah, they can be quite expensive especially when not on sale. A couple of years ago I managed to get some full leather ballet flats for 80% off and they are lasting ok. Sorry that yours didn't.
