          It’ll be worth it just for the club room access for 8-9 days.

        You do realise you are just purchasing a trial right? It will be valid for 90 days and you’ll need to complete 8 separate stays over those 3 months.. this status challenge is offered for free directly through Hilton (https://statusmatch.hiltonhonors.com/) provided you have an equivalent level of status with a competing brand.

        So what you’re paying for is a middle man to dodgy up a screenshot with your details on it showing platinum etc on another hotel statement and then they will apply to Hilton directly using the link above on your behalf.. if you are half talented with photoshop you can do this yourself.. though I wouldn’t recommend as it’s against the T&Cs and your Diamond status could get pulled at anytime over the next 2 years if they cotton on.

          We’ve got 4 “stays” in a few weeks in Asia, so access to the club room & free brekkie will pay for itself. And I believe that’ll give me Gold.

    no, your profile would be upgraded to silver and you can buy/check in with whatever card

    key benefit as jesseboy89 above mention is the 5th night free award (ie stay 5 pay for 4).

  Just my 2 cents, but I wouldn’t bother with Hilton unless you are planning to routinely travel outside of Australia. I’m a Diamond member (achieved while working overseas) and actually choose to stay at other brands (I.e SPG) in Australia with NIL benefits as the hotel choices here are just rubbish.
